Vision

“Improvement in the quality of life and empowerment of the backward community and families living below the poverty line – with particular emphasis on the poorest of the poor, through intensive capacity building interventions, income generation and health activities with special focus on women, tribal areas and socio-economically deprived sections of society.”

Mission

To implement innovative livelihood programs with various target communities, particularly the most backward and deprived ones. Empowerment of target communities by way of capacity building and developing awareness on issues of social importance, including prevention of trafficking, rescue, rehabilitation and re-integration of women involved in commercial sexual exploitation.

Mobilization

Mobilization is a Challenge with Rural Youth for Skilling. First of all mobilization is a big challenge due to the traditional mind-set, low willingness to migrate, low salaries at entry level. The employer does not distinguish whether an employee has picked up skills on the job or he has acquired them through formal training.

At present, wages are linked with categorization of ‘skilled’, ‘semi-skilled’ or ‘unskilled’, but these have to be aligned with skill levels defined as per National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and recognition. SCOPE believe that mobilization/research is major part in skill development. We meet self-help group, parents, and social meet and direct contact the candidates. For mobilization we often use our own vehicle which is dedicated only for mobilization. In vehicle includes: Audio and video facility to reach easily to the desired candidate.
